My dad was stationed in South Korea when he was in the Army. He said the cold was the worst he ever experienced and he was from Minnesota where the temperatures can be horrible. He said he ever could go back to that or liked the cold from that time on -- even with more protection than the men in the Bulge ever had.
Based on his experience I cannot fathom what all of those people endured during the war. I am sure it was horrible to deal with such overwhelming circumstances.
The battle was fought during cold, wet and horrible conditions! Every second death was behind every corner!
Many lost their lives in that freezing cold area called the Bulge!
2nd Lt. Edward Joseph Setlock gave his life for us so that we can cherish Freedom!
God Speed Edward, thank You for Your Service,my condolences to his family and friends...🫡🇺🇸🫡

I have immense respect for these men who were able to endure these hard conditions, while also being able to beat their enemy. Still amazing!
